Project Description
St. Patrick’s National School is a 16-Classroom, 2-storey structure incorporating a 195m2 general purposes room. The structure is located to the south of the existing primary school on the same site. Externally, there are parking provisions for 22 cars and 2 play areas, a junior area (425m2) and a basketball area (565m2). A rainwater harvesting system was used to collect roof run-off for use in flushing the toilets.
Garland took the school through the 9 stages of the Department of Education’s Design Team Procedures.
