GARLAND delighted to confirm C&S Phase of ALAT FEZ Project is now underway

The Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) is Azerbaijan’s first dedicated export value added and Manufacturing Zone and is planned to become, by 2025, the leading Regional Investment Hub in Eurasia. The proposed site of the Alat Free Economic Zone is approximately 8,500,000m² and is located south west of the City of Baku on a land bank adjoining the new Baku Port. 

 

 

GARLAND successfully delivered the Masterplan of this project in February 2020 and completed the schematic design in June 2020, on programme despite the COVID 19 restrictions. Our Civil and Structural Engineering Team is at the advanced stage of the Detailed Design for Phase 1 while our economic development team is working on the development of the structures for the Free Zone Authority.
