McKee Court Senior Citizens Apartments Wins Award

McKee Court Senior Citizens Apartments, Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin 7 has been announced as the Regional Winner for the Republic of Ireland in the 2013 Civic Trust Awards. We acted as consulting civil and structural engineers on the project.

This €5.8m project consisted of the construction of 38 Senior Citizens Apartments and a Community Facility (approx. 59m2) which comprised 36 No. 1-Bedroom Apartments and 2 No. 2-Bed 2-storey houses, plant room, switch room and bin stores in a 2-storey court yard style development with a single vehicular access point off McKee Park access road. The development has a total gross internal floor area of 2,200m2. 20 private resident car parking spaces were constructed within the court yard with a further 12 visitor car parking spaces on McKee Park access road.
