Shane is a Chartered Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the planning and detailed design of structural projects across both public and private sectors. He holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and currently leads a Civil & Structural Engineering team within GARLAND’s Dublin office.

Throughout his career, Shane has worked across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, and education. He is experienced in delivering complex projects as part of multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and surveyors.

Shane is proficient in liaising with both multinational clients and local authorities, and has in-depth knowledge of public procurement requirements, particularly those associated with the GCCC Suite of Contracts.

Technically, Shane is highly skilled in the use of AutoCAD, the Microsoft Office Suite, and structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, and TEDDS. With GARLAND he has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative engineering solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards.
