Chris is a Chartered Engineer with over 12 years of valuable multi-disciplinary experience and a strong technical background in the sustainable energy, water, and wastewater sectors.

He spent eight years with a sustainable energy, water, and waste solutions company in Kilkenny, where he held key roles including Project Lead and PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process). In these roles, he led multi-disciplinary teams through all phases of project development—from initial concept through to the commencement of construction. He worked closely with ECI project partners, including Irish Water’s technical and commercial teams, as well as external programme management and technical assurance consultants. Chris was responsible for managing project risks and programmes, and for developing technical solutions and construction cost estimates.

As Tender Lead, Chris managed and coordinated a multi-disciplinary team—covering Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil design—throughout the tendering process. He produced competitive tender bids for Irish Water DB (Design-Build) contracts valued between €2 million and €30 million. He also managed relationships with Civil Contractors and Civil Consultant Partners.

In 2022, Chris joined GARLAND as a key member of the Waterford office. He now leads the Civil Engineering team, specialising in the design and delivery of infrastructure for a wide range of industrial, residential, and healthcare facilities across Ireland.
