Arran Ankers is an Associate at GARLAND and leads the company’s Safety Team. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and a Master of Business in Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work, and brings over two decades of diverse, international experience as a safety professional across three continents.

Arran has worked with multinational corporations in some of the most heavily regulated safety jurisdictions, including Australia and Canada, consistently upholding the highest standards in Health & Safety. Since joining GARLAND eight years ago, he has played a pivotal role in delivering safety leadership across a range of large-scale projects and was promoted to Associate in 2022.

He currently administers numerous PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process) projects, some with values exceeding €200 million, and provides expert safety advice, auditing services, and incident compliance investigations for both public and legal clients. His background also includes experience in PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage), particularly within complex industrial construction environments.

Arran is actively involved in industry training and knowledge-sharing. He co-develops a Site Safety Course for the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (ACEI) and regularly delivers the "Designing for Safety in Construction" (DSC) and "Project Supervisor Design Process" (PSDP) courses for both ACEI and Engineers Ireland.
